Pat Rogge

Pat Rogge moved to the Black Hills from Minnesota after retiring from Northwest Airlines as a flight attendant for 39 years. She grew up on a farm in western Minnesota where she learned an appreciation of natural beauty and animals. Living in the Hills and her travels both domestically and abroad has provided much inspiration for her paintings. Her works include a wide variety of subjects from landscapes, to children, to still lifes. "I've never been able to limit myself to any one subject matter because something else always catches my attention that needs to be painted," she says.

Pat received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Minneapolis but had no formal education in art. Having taken an occasional art class led to a hobby that has turned into one of her passions. One that she intends to pursue for the rest of her life, she says.

Pat is one of the founding members of Weaver Art Gallery and serves on the board.
